Once again, Taylor Swift has summited the Billboard 200 albums chart, as Billboard reports. Her 12th No. 1 LP—the recently-released Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)—sets a new record for Swift: she now holds the most No. 1 albums for any female artist in history, besting Barbra Streisand for the accolade. The two artists were previously tied with 11 No. 1s each. Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) also debuted on the Billboard 200 with the year’s biggest week for any album.

The re-recorded edition of 2010’s Speak Now, Swift’s third studio album, climbed to the No. 1 position less than one year after Swift’s 2022 LP Midnights peaked on the chart. In addition to releasing another chart-topping album, Swift has become the first living artist to have four albums in the top 10 at the same time since 1966; she is the first-ever female artist to secure four spots in the top 10, period. At present, Folklore, Lover, Midnights, and of course, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), are all populating the top 10 of the Billboard 200.

Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) debuted with 716,000 equivalent album units in the U.S. in the week ending July 13, according to Luminate. Over 500,000 of those units were in traditional album sales. Both of Swift’s prior re-recorded albums—Red (Taylor’s Version) and Fearless (Taylor’s Version), also debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.

Swift is currently on her Eras Tour, which she recently extended to stretch into 2024.
