Tottenham’s return to Australia is arguably overdue with the club’s last visit dating back to July 2016.

Tottenham also came Down Under in 2015 when they beat Sydney FC 1-0 in front of over 70,000 fans.

West Ham were supposed to play in Australia in 2020 but had to cancel due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to that, the Hammers did play across the ditch in New Zealand in 2014 – notably losing to both Wellington Phoenix and Sydney FC.
