Despite being historically one of the best women’s football teams in history, a World Cup win has alluded the Swedes over the years, with their best finish being a runners-up medal in 2003.
With many of the teams in Europe now catching up with them, it will make the task even harder, but Sweden are still ranked third in the FIFA World rankings.
