The Game4Ukraine charity match will be taking place at Stamford Bridge on Saturday, August 5 as current and former footballers, plus celebrities, take part.
Oleksandr Zinchenko and Andriy Shevchenko organised the event in order to raise funds for rebuilding schools in Ukraine. It has been supported by Chelsea FC and United 24, president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky’s charity to collect donations in support of the country, which has suffered terrible loss following Russia’s invasion last year.
Along with the abundance of footballing royalty on show, there will also be performances from musicians before the match, during halftime, and after the final whistle. This includes Tom Grennan, The Pretenders, and Tom Walker, while Zelensky himself will also give an address.
