Team USA is on to the second round of the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.

After going a perfect 3-0 in the first round, Team USA enters the next group stage as the top-ranked team in Group J alongside Lithuania (3-0), Montenegro (2-1) and Greece (2-1).

The United States cruised through its first three contests, defeating New Zealand, Greece and Jordan by a combined point differential of plus-103, the second-best margin at the tournament behind Canada. It will kick off the next stage with a matchup against All-Star center Nikola Vucevic and Montenegro as it looks to pick up a win and clinch a spot in the knockout stage to compete for a gold medal.

The 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup tipped off on Friday, Aug. 25. The Group Stages will run through Sept. 3 with the single-elimination knockout stage beginning on Sept. 5.

The tournament will conclude with the gold medal match on Sunday, Sept. 10.
