After claiming another race win last time out in Mexico City – his 16th of 2023 – Red Bull’s Max Verstappen broke the single season record for most victories obtained in a F1 campaign.

His domination last weekend came without sealing the pole position the day before, as Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc proved too strong in that regard once again.

It ultimately wasn’t to be for the Monegasque driver during Sunday’s Grand Prix though, as he once again failed to start well and was overtaken at the first corner.

He’ll be desperate to seal a win before the season ends though, as too will McLaren pair Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri who continue to look threatening in their upgrading car.

F1 Brazilian Grand Prix 2023: Best bet

  • Pick: Lando Norris to finish on the podium
  • Odds: -105 (DraftKings)

Although Lando Norris failed to pick up a podium finish last time out in Mexico after a lengthy amount of issues saw him struggle in Sunday’s race, the British driver did again showcase his lightning quick pace.

Starting in P17, the McLaren driver made a number of stunning overtakes to eventually finish P5, a finish that would have likely been even higher if the race was another five laps longer.

Ultimately, that finish did end his podium streak after claiming a top three spot in the prior four races but we expect him to be back amongst the frontrunners again in Brazil.

F1 Brazilian Grand Prix 2023: Flier bet

  • Pick: Daniel Ricciardo to finish in the top six
  • Odds: +1000 (DraftKings)

How good was it to see Daniel Ricciardo back in the points in Mexico City?

The Australian fan favorite has had a turbulent time in recent years, but this year returned to the sport before then crashing out and breaking a bone in his hand a few races later.

Last weekend, he notched an impressive P7 finish for AlphaTauri who have really improved over recent weeks. Now with a seemingly quicker car which should suit this track here in Interlagos, at +1000, he could be a decent shout for a top six finish if others in faster cars ahead of him get held up in trouble.
