The NFL playoffs are officially here as both the Packers and the Cowboys look to continue progressing to the ultimate goal of a Super Bowl 58 appearance.
Dallas secured the No. 2 seed in the NFC in Week 18 with a dominant 38-10 win over Washington, finishing out the regular season with an overall record of 12-5. That tied the Cowboys with the Lions, but they still came out on the right side of the tiebreaker with 20-19 win over Detroit in Week 17.
They’ll look to defeat Green Bay next and start turning the narrative in the right direction as the Packers have had no shortage of luck in their past 10 meetings, winning all but one of them. The Packers come off of a 17-9 win over the Bears, finishing the season on a three-game winning streak to put their record at 9-8.

One of the most interesting storylines to watch will be the fact the Packers are this time facing the Cowboys in the postseason with Jordan Love at quarterback instead of Aaron Rodgers, and he’s got a chance to make a big statement with Dak Prescott on the other sideline.
Love finished the season with a 64.2% completion rate, passing for 4,159 yards with 35 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

Packers vs. Cowboys live updates, highlights from 2024 NFL playoff game
(All times Eastern)
Packers 48, Cowboys 32
7:35 p.m.: This was a 32-point game not too long ago, and while it still appears Dallas will not be able to stage a comeback, the Cowboys won’t go down by any ridiculous deficit. At least, that’s how it appears now. Prescott hits Ferguson again with the conversion.
7:29 p.m.: Sean Clifford, the former Penn State quarterback, takes Jordan Love’s place in relief as the Packers have built a dominant lead.
7:29 p.m.: Prescott hits Ferguson short to the middle for the touchdown, two-point attempt is good.
7:14 p.m.: Love hits Doubs for the 3-yard touchdown.
Packers 41, Cowboys 16
6:59 p.m.: Love connects with Musgrave for the 38-yard touchdown as the game only continues to slip out of reach for the Cowboys.
6:48 p.m.: The Cowboys drive down the field and Pollard takes it in for the 1-yard touchdown. The two-point conversion fails and then after the debacle, the extra point attempt fails as well.
6:32 p.m.: Aaron Jones’s dominance against the Cowboys (in this game and beyond) only continues. That is his third touchdown of the day, which comes on a 9-yarder.
6:30 p.m.: Jordan Love connects with Romeo Doubs for the 456-yard reception. It’s 5 catches for 148 yards for Doubs to this point as the Cowboys defense has simply found no way to stop him.
6:24 p.m.: The Cowboys continue to drive down the field, but Prescott nearly throws his third interception of the evening there after throwing two interceptions in the first half.
Packers 27, Cowboys 7
6:01 p.m.: Late in the second quarter, the Cowboys try for a touchdown on 2nd & goal and Ferguson, who Prescott finds in the flat, is in for the touchdown to finally get on the board. The Cowboys will get the ball in the third quarter to kick off once more what has become more of a football game.
5:55 p.m.: At this point, it is almost unbelievable the way the Packers have completely hindered the Cowboys’ No. 1 offense. That has largely been accomplished by the mixing up of coverages, especially in zone, that has worked out.
5:51 p.m.: Packers defender Darnell Savage capitalizes on a forced throw by Dak Prescott on a 64-yard interception returned for a touchdown.
5:40 p.m.: Jordan Love hits Dontayvion Wicks for the 20-yard touchdown as Green Bay continues to pile on a substantial lead. The extra point attempt, though, is no good.

5:19 p.m.: Aaron Jones makes his way to the end zone yet again as the continued sole touchdown-scorer of this game on a 1-yarder.
Packers 7, Cowboys 0
5 p.m.: The Cowboys’ first offensive possession comes up fruitless, ending in a punt.
4:54 p.m.: The Cowboys have allowed points on the opening possession 10 times during the regular season. Aaron Jones has seven touchdowns in four games against the Cowboys as his good fortune continues.
4:51 p.m.: Aaron Jones caps off the drive with a 3-yard touchdown after the Packers win the toss and elect to receive.
