Middle Tennessee State earned the top seeds in the 2024 Conference USA Basketball Championships after going 16-0 in the conference over the regular season — becoming the fourth team in CUSA history to go undefeated. 

Lady Raiders center Anastasiia Boldyreva tied the single-season blocks record set by Cheyenne Parker (88). The junior has 187 career blocks, just five away from the career blocks record set by Kay Wilbanks (191). 

Middle Tennessee State forward Courtney Whitson eclipsed 1,500 career points. She is just the 12th Lady Raider in program history to accomplish that feat.

The tournament is in the first of a multi-year agreement at VBC Propst Arena in Huntsville, Ala., and features all nine teams and begins with a first-round game at 5:30 p.m. CT Tuesday between No. 8 UTEP and No. 9 Sam Houston.
 
The quarterfinals will tip off Wednesday, March 13 at 11:30 a.m. CT as No. 1 MTSU will take on the winner of No. 8 UTEP and No. 9 Sam Houston. No. 2 Liberty and No. 7 Western Kentucky will follow that contest at 2 p.m. CT to wrap up Wednesday’s action.
 
The remaining two quarterfinal games will be played on Thursday, March 14 as No. 4 Louisiana Tech will face No. 5 Jacksonville State to begin the day at 11:30 a.m. CT. No. 3 Florida International will play No. 6 New Mexico State in the last quarterfinal game.
 
The two semifinal contests are scheduled for 5:30 p.m. CT and 8 p.m. CT on Friday, March 15 with the championship final to tip off at 4:30 p.m. CT on Saturday, March 16
