As the New England Patriots move through their offseason program, they’re beginning to trim down some of the roster, and they’ll eventually add more players to compete for spots.

On Monday, the Patriots informed offensive lineman Andrew Stueber that they plan to waive him, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss.

New England drafted Steuber in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL draft following a collegiate career at Michigan that included a Second-team All-American final season.

The former Wolverine missed all of his rookie season due to a torn hamstring and spent all of 2023 on the practice squad.

The Patriots have a ton of depth on the offensive line, so this move shouldn’t shake things up too much.
