Cleveland Browns Pro Bowl guard Wyatt Teller is charismatic, funny, and informative. Nicknamed “The Pancake Guy” for his method of tackling, Teller had plenty to say at Monday’s press conference before the Browns Week 1 game against the Dallas Cowboys.
Here are the highlights.
1. Teller and his wife Carly recently had their second child in less than two years. Virginia, whom they plan to call Gigi, was born on Friday, August 30. She joins big brother Brooks who will be two in December.
2. Teller talked about Dawand Jones‘ confidence and ability. He said: “I’d say he was pretty confident when we was out there blocking TJ Watt who’s a pretty d#$n good pass rusher.”
3. Teller said he is not changing his nickname for the team calling them the “Fighting Stefasnkis.” He was asked if adding Ken Dorsey as the Browns’ offensive coordinator and Andy Dickerson as the offensive line coach in 2024 changed the name.
Wyatt Teller says the Browns are still the “Fighting Stefanskis” despite Ken Dorsey’s arrival as new offensive coordinator,

All kidding aside, Wyatt Teller is a Cleveland Browns gem. He was acquired via a trade with the Buffalo Bills before the 2019 season. The three-time Pro Bowler is a lynchpin in the offensive line that needs to be at its best to protect Deshaun Watson in 2024 beginning on Sunday against Dallas Cowboys superstar Micah Parsons.
