The New England Patriots are set for their second game of the 2024 season on Sunday afternoon, as they’ll take on the Seattle Seahawks at Gillette Stadium.
On Thursday, New England held another practice on the fields behind their stadium in Foxboro, Massachusetts to get ready.
Only guard Sidy Sow (ankle) was a non-participant for the session.
However, New England did add three players to their injury report who weren’t there the day prior – safety Kyle Dugger (ankle), guard Layden Robinson (shoulder) and running back JaMycal Hasty (knee). All three were limited.
They joined running back Antonio Gibson (hip), linebacker Anfernee Jennings (wrist/knee), offensive tackle Vederian Lowe (abdomen), safety Jabrill Peppers (hip), linebacker Joshua Uche (foot) and defensive end Deatrich Wise Jr.(shoulder) with that designation.
Center David Andrews and running back Rhamondre Stevenson, who both were limited on Wednesday for rest days, were removed on Thursday.
This report isn’t great for New England as they have both Sow and Robinson dealing with injuries and Cole Strange on reserve/PUP, so their interior depth could be tested. Both of their starting safeties are also limited, which could be exploited by Geno Smith and company.
Seattle’s injury report will be included when it’s announced.
