The College World Series bracket is nearly complete, with the final eight teams in the country set to descend upon Omaha for the most exciting college baseball tournament of the year.
While Bracket 1 is packed with traditional heavy hitters such as LSU, Bracket 2 features fun teams such as TCU and Oral Roberts alongside Florida and Virginia.
MLB fans will want to see LSU. Presumed No. 1 draft pick Dylan Crews looks to lead the Tigers to their first College World Series title since 2009. Paul Skenes is also expected to be a top-five pick out of LSU. And Florida will be must-see TV with Wyatt Langford, who has MLB star potential, and Jac Caglianone.
Virginia made the CWS by virtue of a 12-2 victory over Duke to clinch the Charlottesville super regional. Brian Edgington went the distance for the Cavaliers in a 114-pitch effort. Wake Forest, the No. 1 team in the country, has three potential MLB pitchers in Rhett Lowder, Seth Keener and Sean Sullivan.
Two spots remain to be filled as super regionals conclude Monday with Southern Miss facing Tennessee and Stanford hosting Texas in decisive Game 3s.
