Bad Bunny appears in the new wrestling biopic Cassandro. Directed by Roger Ross Williams, the film stars Gael García Bernal as the exotico lucha libre legend. The film arrives on Prime Video on September 22 with a limited theatrical release on September 15. See Benito in the trailer below.
Cassandro is not Bad Bunny’s sole foray into either movies or wrestling. He recently appeared alongside Brad Pitt in Bullet Train; he’s also set to star as the superpowered wrestler El Muerto in an upcoming movie from Sony’s extended Spider-Man universe. Bad Bunny has wrestled multiple times for WWE. He received a massive ovation during an event in Puerto Rico earlier this year.
