The AFC North has established itself as one of the best divisions in the conference, with virtually every divisional game between fierce rivals.

Such a clash is set to take place in the DMV between Baltimore (6-3) and the Bengals (4-5) to kick off Week 10 Thursday night. It’s an intriguing matchup featuring two of the league’s premier quarterbacks, and the stakes are high for both teams, with the Ravens fighting for first in the division and Cincinnati toeing the line of a .500 record on the edge of the playoff scene.

Lamar Jackson will make his second-straight appearance at home after dismantling Bo Nix’s Broncos last week, 41-10. The two-time NFL MVP posted his fourth career perfect passer rating, tying Steelers great Ben Roethlisberger for most all-time.

Running back Derrick Henry, receiver Zay Flowers, and fullback Patrick Ricard combined for five touchdowns — two on the ground and three through the air — and the Ravens’ defense held the Broncos to just 122 yards rushing and under 200 yards passing. Notably, Denver ranks seventh in the NFL in passing yards per game, with 236.3 on average.

The Bengals are also coming off a dominant win, besting Las Vegas 41-24 thanks to a big performance from Joe Burrow. The quarterback threw five touchdowns, tying his most ever in a game, and sealed Cincinnati’s first home win of the season.

Burrow’s main weapon of choice in the matchup was running back Chase Brown, who notched 157 yards of total offense on 27 carries and five receptions, scoring one touchdown through the air. Cincinnati’s defense recovered two fumbles and kept the Raiders at 60 rushing yards, less than half of the Bengals’ ground total.

Fourth quarter

11:10 p.m. — Henry takes it for three more before the Ravens call their first timeout of the half.

11:07 p.m. — Henry takes a carry for four before Jackson finds Bateman for 12 to the Baltimore 46 for a first down. The QB then finds Flowers, who has had a relatively quiet night, upfield for a 19-yard gain into Bengals territory. Henry takes it for eight more to bring up second-and-2 with 3:55 in regulation.

11:05 p.m. — McPherson’s kick goes for a touchback, then Jackson tries to find Andrews on the first play of the drive. It appears as though it’s intercepted by Taylor-Britt, but it was ruled an incompletion after the ball hit the ground.

Ravens 28, Bengals 28

11:02 p.m. — BENGALS ARE BACK IN IT! Tucker’s kick goes through the end zone for a touchback, then on the first play of the drive, Burrow finds Chase deep around the 25 with open field in front of him. The WR takes it for six, marking his third 200-plus yard game of his career. McPherson’s kick is good, and the game is tied at 28 with 5:37 to go.

Ravens 28, Bengals 21

10:58 p.m. — RAVENS TAKE THE LEAD! Hill takes a carry for a loss of two, bringing up third-and-nine in the red zone. Then, Jackson finds Andrews inside the five for a 18-yard catch and score, his fifth of the season.

Harbaugh elects to go for two and Jackson punches it in easily, putting Baltimore up seven with 5:50 remaining after facing a 14-point deficit at the half.

10:57 p.m. — Henry takes a handoff for nine before Jackson scrambles to the 19 for six yards. He finds Henry again the next play for three more, setting the Ravens up at the 16 on second-and-7.

10:55 p.m. — It doesn’t take long for Baltimore to get back into Bengals territory, as none other than Wallace makes a 19-yard reception at the 46. Jackson finds Andrews up the middle for a first down into field goal range the next play.

10:50 p.m. — TURNOVER ON DOWNS. Burrow misses Chase up the right sideline, overthrowing him toward the end zone. On fourth-and-2 from the 34, the QB tries to hit Burton up the opposite sideline, missing him as well. The Ravens regain possession at their own 34 with 9:29 to take the lead.

Interestingly, the Bengals were in field goal range when Taylor made the decision to go for it.

10:47 p.m. — Brown makes a reception short up the middle for seven and the first down at the 42. Burrow then hits Gesicki streaking toward the left sideline for five before he finds Brown again for three, making it third-and-2 from the 34.

10:45 p.m. — Tucker kicks it through the end zone, then Burrow finds Chase for the 17-yard gain to the 47. Brown takes the next handoff for four, then Burrow passes it to Grandy for no gain, bringing up third-and-6 at the Baltimore 49 with 12:18 to go in regulation.

10:41 p.m. — RAVENS PULL WITHIN ONE! Wallace comes up with an 84-yard touchdown reception, making the catch around the 20 and sprinting the entire way up the left sideline. He nearly stepped out, but it was ruled his heel didn’t touch the ground on his way to the end zone.

However, Tucker uncharacteristically misses the XP, allowing Cincinnati to maintain a slim lead.

10:40 p.m. — Bateman makes the first catch of the drive for five yards before Henry takes a carry for three to the 16, setting up third-and-2.

10:38 p.m. — BENGALS PUNT. Burrow can’t complete his first pass, and then Chase can’t pull one in up the middle under good coverage by Wiggins. On fourth-and-long, Rehkow punts it once more to the eight, where Wallace fair catches.

Third quarter: Bengals 21, Ravens 14

10:34 p.m. — Madubuike ends the third quarter with a sack—his third of the game—taking Burrow down for a loss of six to the Baltimore 30, bringing up second-and-long. The clock winds down, and the Bengals will attempt to extend the lead out of the break.

10:30 p.m. — Tucker boots it to the two, where Burton returns it to the 19. Burrow completes back-to-back passes too Brown and Chase for 21 yards to the 41, where the RB takes a carry for two and catches one for six. He passes one to Chase on the bubble, who is pushed out of bounds at the Ravens 34 for a 17-yard gain.

Bengals 21, Ravens 14

10:25 p.m. — RAVENS SHAVE THE DEFICIT TO SEVEN! Henry powers in off the right edge, shifting momentum in Baltimore’s favor with 4:12 remaining in the quarter.

10:24 p.m. — Bateman makes the first catch of the drive for eight yards, then Henry takes two handoffs for 13. Then, Jackson does what he does best from the 11, scrambling all the way back to the 30 before somehow shaking off every defender to get to the one, setting up first-and-goal.

10:20 p.m. — RAVENS FUMBLE RECOVERY! Brown bursts forward for a gain of five, then gets another handoff for four before losing the ball. Humphrey forces the fumble and Smith gets on top of it, setting Baltimore up at the Bengals 31 with 6:21 to go in the third.

10:18 p.m. — Burrow’s first pass goes to Hudson for four yards before he tries to find Brown, who drops it to bring up third-and-6 at the 12. Hudson makes another catch for 10 and the first down, adding to his impressive night so far.

10:16 p.m. — RAVENS PUNT. Jackson exits the field to a round of boos from the Baltimore faithful, and Stout trots on to punt. He boots it to the 15, where Moore returns it for a yard. Battle is called for holding on the Bengals, and the offense is sent back to the eight with a fresh set of downs.

10:14 p.m. — Jackson misses Kolar then scrambles up the middle himself for four. He finds Hill after scrambling out of the pocket once again, but he can’t get back to the line of scrimmage, bringing up fourth-and-long.

10:12 p.m. — Right on cue, Hamilton was ruled out for the rest of the game. Jackson hands it off to Henry again for two before finding Bateman up the middle for nine and a first down. Then, the QB finds Flowers for five, but the Ravens are called for ineligible man downfield and sent back to first-and-long from the 38.

10:10 p.m. —Hamilton was ruled questionable before halftime and has not yet returned to play with an ankle injury. McPherson’s kick goes into the end zone and Mitchell returns it to the 28. Henry takes Jackson’s first handoff for four yards to the 32 bringing up second-and-6.

Bengals 21, Ravens 7

10:06 p.m. — BENGALS SCORE! Burrow finds Chase up the middle on the first play of the drive, and the receiver turns to find open field up the sideline. It’s a mad dash from there, and the WR sprints it in for the score to put Cincinnati up 14 after McPherson’s kick.

10:05 p.m. — RAVENS PUNT. A disastrous drive comes to an end as the Ravens boot it away to the Cincinnati 33, where it’s fair caught by Irwin. Baltimore has 25 total plays compared to the Bengals’ 43.

10:04 p.m. — Jackson looks for Johnson up the middle, but the WR slips up and can’t pull in what would have been a first down. The QB then finds Wallace for 11 yards before the Ravens are called for illegal formation, setting up fourth-and-8.

10:02 p.m. — Jackson scrambles in and out of pressure all over the backfield before somehow making it back to the line of scrimmage, going down to bring up second-and-long from the 21.

10 p.m. — The Ravens will receive to start off the quarter, kicking off the half with only 102 total yards of offense. McPherson kicks it for a touchback, and Jackson’s first snap is a fake handoff to Henry before he scrambles for five. A flag is thrown on the play, however, on Baltimore’s Faalele for offensive holding.

Halftime: Bengals 14, Ravens 7

9:47 p.m. — Jackson finds Johnson for the last play of the half as the WR is brought down inbounds by Hilton. The Bengals finish the quarter up 14-7, with double the amount of possession as the Ravens.

9:45 p.m. — McPherson boots it for a touchback, and Jackson’s first pass goes to Andrews for three. He misses Agholor the next play before finding Andrews again on the outside, where he powers forward for 14 before being pushed out of bounds with 12 seconds to go.

Bengals 14, Ravens 7

9:42 p.m. — BENGALS LEAD! Burrow finds Hudson in the end zone up the middle for the score, and McPherson’s kick is good for seven total. The Ravens have 30 seconds to return the favor before half.

9:40 p.m. — Burrow is sacked for no gain by Madubuike, bringing up third down. Cincinnati takes its second timeout before Burrow finds Burton up the middle for a first down at the three with 36 seconds left.

9:35 p.m. — RAVENS INTERCEPTION OVERTURNED! Burrow looks for Gesicki short but misses him, however Baltimore is called offsides, boosting the Bengals to the 14 for first-and-5. Burrow looks to the left side of the end zone on the next play for Gesicki again, but Stephens gets in front of it and picks it off.

However, the play is under review as Stephens’ left foot appears to have not touched before going out of bounds. The interception is overturned, and the Bengals get the ball back with second-and-5 to go from the 14.

9:30 p.m. — Chase makes his fourth reception of the night, taking a big hit at the 49 for a first down. Brown is open on the next play and makes the catch, turning and powering forward for 17.

Notably, Baltimore’s Hamilton is injured on the play trying to bring Brown down, appearing to suffer a lower body injury as his legs gave out. He hobbles to the sideline under his own power and goes into the tent.

9:27 p.m. — Burrow finds Hudson for seven yards and another fresh set of downs as the clock ticks down to the two-minute warning.

9:25 p.m. — Brown starts things off with a one-yard gain, his eighth carry of the night, then Burrow finds Gesicki for 12 and a first down at the 40. The RB gets it again for four to bring up second-and-6 at the 44.

9:23 p.m. — RAVENS PUNT. Jackson looks for Flowers up the left sideline, but Turner has him covered and knocks it out. Stout comes out again for the third time, booting it to the Cincinnati 27 with just over four minutes to go.

9:21 p.m. — Henry takes the first handoff of the drive for a one-yard gain, then Jackson finds Kolar for a four-yard gain to the Baltimore 25, bringing up third-and-5.

9:18 p.m. — BENGALS PUNT. Burrow tries to save the drive, scrambling left out of the pocket, but he’s taken down out of bounds to bring up fourth-and-16. Rehkow enters to punt, and he boots it to the 20 where Wallace makes a fair catch with 5:32 remaining in the half.

9:16 p.m. — Hudson takes a direct snap and then gains one for the first down at the 40. Burrow tries to hit Brown on the bubble, but he’s taken down for a loss of five before Hudson drops an easy pass on second-and-long.

9:14 p.m. — Brown gets his seventh carry of the night for three before a Burrow pass attempt is swatted away by Hamilton for an incompletion. Burrow then scrambles out of the pocket himself, taken down just shy of the marker for fourth-and-inches.

9:12 p.m. — RAVENS PUNT. Henry runs for five before Flowers get another pass out wide and gains yardage, pushing forward for nine but to no avail. The Ravens go three-and-out for the second time tonight, and Stout boots it to Irwin, who makes the catch and is taken down at the 30.

9:10 p.m. — Stanley is flagged for a false start, the second consecutive drive to begin as such, before Jackson finds Flowers on the bubble. He’s taken down in the backfield by Taylor-Britt for a loss of five, setting up second-and-long.

9:07 p.m. — BENGALS PUNT. Burrow isn’t able to keep the drive going, finding Hudson for just nine when they needed 11. Rehkow punts it away to the Ravens 16, where Wallace makes a fair catch with 11:35 in the half.

9:05 p.m. — Tucker’s kick goes 65 yards through the end zone for a touchback. Herbert makes his Bengals debut, taking a carry before fumbling and rapidly hopping back on it for a loss of two. Burrow’s first pass of the drive is incomplete to Chase, bringing up third-and-11.

Bengals 7, Ravens 7

9 p.m. — BALTIMORE EVENS THE SCORE! Jackson finds a wide-open Agholor for six yards and the score, then Tucker nails the XP to knot things up at seven. There are 13 minutes before half for Burrow to answer.

8:58 p.m. — Henry takes back-to-back carries for six yards total, bringing up third-and-4 at the 12. Jackson then uses his signature sidearm to find Hill up the middle, who turns and powers forward to the marker at the six.

First quarter: Bengals 7, Ravens 0

8:55 p.m. — Flowers makes his first catch of the game, adding extra yardage with a few smooth jukes all the way to the 18. Time winds down to end the quarter, and the Ravens will have it in the Red Zone to start the next frame.

8:52 p.m. — Jackson fails to find Flowers short, then he scrambles for a first down to the Cincinnati 34, setting up third-and-1. Mitchell enters the game and takes a carry for no gain, but the Bengals have too many men on the field and the Ravens get a fresh set of downs at the 29.

8:50 p.m. — Faalele is called for a false start before the drive begins, pushing Baltimore back five. Then, Henry nearly erases the penalty with a four-yard run before Jackson finds Andrews in Bengals territory for a first down and 17-yard gain.

8:48 p.m. — TURNOVER ON DOWNS. Burrow can’t find Burton up the right sideline, and the Ravens will regain possession at their own 41 with 2:56 to work with in the first.

8:46 p.m. — Brown takes yet another handoff for seven, then Burrow tries to find Iosivas deep around the 30, but he can’t pull it in. Facing third-and-3, Burrow scrambles out of the pocket and looks for Gesicki past the marker, but Hamilton covers him well and he can’t pull it in.

8:44 p.m. — Gesicki pulls one in for nine, bringing up second-and-11. Then, Burrow finds Hudson at the 45 for nine more. On third-and-2, Chase earns a first down with a seven-yard catch on the left sideline to the Baltimore 48.

8:42 p.m. — Brown gains seven for Cincinnati on the ground before taking it again for seven more. A flag is thrown on the second run on the Bengals’ Karras for holding, however, setting up first-and-long from the 27.

8:39 p.m. — Cincinnati takes its first timeout of the half with 7:44 remaining, then Chase is held by Wiggins on the play out of the break. He’s called for pass interference, and the Bengals take possession at their own 23 with a fresh set of downs.

8:37 p.m. — RAVENS PUNT. The first drive does not go as planned for Harbaugh and Jackson, as Baltimore goes three-and-out, and Stout boots it 54 yards to the Bengals 10. Burrow’s first two passes are incomplete to Sample and Gesicki, bringing up third-and-10.

8:35 p.m. — Jackson’s first shot goes deep down the right sideline for Bateman, but he’s well covered by Taylor-Britt who gets a hand on the ball to knock it out. Henry gets the first handoff of the drive for six before Hill takes a carry for no gain, bringing up fourth-and-3 from the Ravens 37.

8:35 p.m. — McPherson kicks it through the end zone for a touchback, and Jackson will start things off from his own 30.

Bengals 7, Ravens 0

8:31 p.m. — BENGALS PUNCH ONE IN! Cincinnati capitalizes on the penalty and gets six thanks to a one-yard run from Brown, marking his third straight game with a score. McPherson nails the XP, and the Bengals lead 7-0 with 9:23 in the quarter to go.

8:29 p.m. — Under pressure, Burrow scrambles then throws it away to bring up fourth down. HC Zac Taylor elects to go for it and Burrow faces pressure again before missing Brown in the end zone. However, a flag is thrown on the Ravens for defensive holding, giving the Bengals a fresh set of downs.

8:27 p.m. — Burrow tries to find Chase in the end zone after the break but misses, then Baltimore takes its second timeout of the half just 5:20 into the game with third-and-goal from the two for Cincinnati.

8:25 p.m. — Harbaugh draws the challenge flag after a replay shows Gesicki may have not had control of the football before he was ruled down. It’s an odd challenge considering how much time remains on the clock, with little reward for a lot of risk.

The 3-yard play is confirmed, and the Ravens lose a timeout on a questionable decision by Harbaugh.

8:23 p.m. — Iosivas makes his first reception of the game at the Baltimore five, setting up first-and-goal. Burrow fires toward the left sideline to Gesicki for three yards to the two before second-and-goal.

8:21 p.m. — Burrow saves the drive, scrambling out of the pocket and firing one deep to Chase for a 26-yard gain into Ravens territory. Then, Brown takes it for two before powering forward for four more to set up third-and-4.

8:20 p.m. — Brown takes a handoff but only gets two before he’s stuffed by the Ravens defense. Burrow then tries to find Burton just over the 50, but he’s well covered by Humphrey who knocks it away. It’s third-and-9 from the 44.

8:18 p.m. — Tucker boots it for a touchback and Burrow starts from the Bengals 30. Brown makes the first reception of the game for a seven-yard gain, then Burrow hits Chase up the middle for a first down at the 43.

8:17 p.m. — The Bengals call tails and it’s heads. The Ravens defer and Cincinnati will receive to start the game.

Pregame

8:15 p.m. — M&T Bank bathed in purple for player intros, and we are just a few minutes away from kickoff in Baltimore. Tune in on Amazon Prime and follow along for updates.

8:10 p.m. — In a couple last personnel updates before kickoff, LT Orlando Brown Jr. will be replaced by Cody Ford, and DT BJ Hill will play as well for the Bengals.

7:50 p.m. — In what could be considered a Color Rush revival, the Ravens will debut their new alternate “Purple Rising” uniforms tonight. It is the first time the franchise will don purple helmets in a game.

7:35 p.m. — Another addition for Baltimore before the deadline was WR Diontae Johnson from Carolina. Johnson was traded with a 6th-round pick for a Ravens’ fifth-rounder, putting yet another target on the field for Jackson.

Because of how recently he arrived, it’s likely the sixth-year veteran—who spent his first five seasons with the Steelers—won’t see many targets along with Herbert.

7:20 p.m. — In other personnel news, RB Khalil Herbert will make his debut for Cincinnati after arriving Tuesday to fill in for the injured Zack Moss.

Herbert played for three full seasons with the Bears and six games this season, though his use was minimal with RBs D’Andre Swift and Roschon Johnson in the backfield. Though he will face minimal snaps, Burrow has emphasized Herbert is ready for tonight.

7 p.m. — Both teams have released their inactive players for the matchup.

The Bengals most notable absence will be WR Tee Higgins for the third week in a row and fifth contest this season, who did not practice ahead of tonight’s game with a quad injury.

Baltimore CB Tre’Davious White will also sit tonight out, having been sent to the team from the Rams on Tuesday before the deadline.

6:45 p.m. — The Ravens also added RB Keaton Mitchell back to the 53-man roster, filling the spot vacated by Ngakoue. He was on the PUP list with a knee injury sustained last December, after running for 396 yards and two scores his rookie campaign as a UDFA. He joins Henry and Justice Hill in the backfield.

6:40 p.m. — Both teams have arrived at M&T Bank Stadium ahead of tonight’s marquee matchup between two elite quarterbacks. Notably, the Ravens made some roster moves before kickoff, waiving OLB Yannick Ngakoue and elevating NT Josh Tupou and LB Kristian Welch from the practice squad.
