Two of the most exciting teams in the league are going head-to-head today at Frankfurt Stadium, as Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs face off against Tua Tagovailoa and the Dolphins. Kansas City and Miami are two of four AFC teams that are 6-2 on the season. The Chiefs are in first in the AFC West, while the Dolphins own the top spot in the AFC East.
Last week, Mahomes suffered his first loss to the Broncos in his career, as Denver snapped a 16-game losing streak against Kansas City by handing the defending Super Bowl champions a stunning loss at Mile High. The star QB was battling through a flu, but was unable to extend the team’s winning streak.
For the Finns, they knocked off the Patriots last week for the second time this season, improving to 4-0 at home. Tagovailoa enjoyed another strong game, throwing for over 300 yards for the fourth time this season, while adding three passing TDs.
There is a good chance that the German NFL fans will be treated to a shootout. These juggernauts are two of the top passing teams in the league this year, ranking first and third in passing yards per game. The Dolphins lead the NFL with an average of 301.5 yards per game, while the Chiefs are not too far behind, averaging 276.4 yards.
