Teams get one more chance to make an impression on the Committee before the first CFP rankings come out on Tuesday. Will someone fold under the pressure? The possibility of an upset or two makes creating college football parlays even more exciting this week.
With that in mind, here are a few of our favorite college football parlays for Week 9 at some of the top sports betting site in the U.S.
Week 9 college football parlay picks
If you like to risk a little and win a lot, then college football parlays are for you. However, the house’s edge is even more significant regarding parlays. So, when putting money down on them, do what you can to minimize your risk.
Rather than add another leg and go for the massive payday, keep your parlays short (two or three legs). Let’s review a few college football parlays using games from Saturday’s slate of college football Week 9 action:
Ollie Gordon + Bo Nix parlay from FanDuel
- Ollie Gordon, Over 100.5 rushing yards -114
- Bo Nix, Over 255.5 passing yards -114
- Parlay odds: +252
Ollie Gordon is working on a four-game streak with 100-plus rushing yards and is coming off a 282-yard, four-touchdown day against West Virginia last week. Cincinnati has been giving up around 100 yards a game on the ground, but that could be because teams are too busy throwing on them.
Gordon has been unstoppable for the last month, and there is no reason to think Cincinnati will even slow him down this week.
Bo Nix has thrown for less than 255.5 yards just once this season (vs. Hawaii), but he only played part of the game. Against Utah, Oregon will not get out to enough of a lead that they feel comfortable playing their backup QB.
The Utah defense kept Caleb Williams somewhat contained last week, but Williams still threw for 256 yards.
A $100 wager will result in a $352 payday, your stake plus $252 in winnings.
Dillon Gabriel + Taulia Tagovailoa parlay at Caesars Sportsbook
- Dillon Gabriel, Over 295.5 passing yards -117
- Taulia Tagovailoa, Anytime touchdown scorer +185
- Parlay odds: +429
Northwestern’s strength is its defense, but the Wildcats tend to give up more touchdowns rushing (16) than throwing (7). Tagovailoa has four rushing touchdowns on the year, including one in three of the last four games. He’ll get back in the end zone this week.
It’s been a couple of weeks since Gabriel cleared 295.5 passing yards. But after last week’s wake-up call against UCF, the offense will be more focused and determined to take control of the game. Kansas will put up a fight, which will keep the Sooners throwing the ball late.
A $100 wager will result in a $529 payday, your stake plus $429 in winnings.
Jonathan Brooks and Maryland-Northwestern parlay from BetRivers
- Jonathon Brooks, Over 109.5 rushing yards +140
- Maryland-Northwestern, Under 48.5 points -110
- Parlay odds: +358
Brooks has been good for over 109.5 yards in two of his last three games. With Quinn Ewers out due to a shoulder injury, Texas will lean on him more to take pressure off Maalik Murphy. BYU’s defense is giving up over 150 YPG this season on the ground.
Northwestern has a solid defense, but it will only slow the Maryland offense down, not stop it. The Wildcats offense, however, is dreadful and could get shut out by the Terrapins.
A $100 wager will result in a $458 payday, your stake plus $358 in winnings.
Three-leg college football parlay from Bet365
- Jordan Travis, Anytime touchdown scorer -125
- Evan Stewart, Anytime touchdown scorer -138
- Ollie Gordon, first-quarter anytime touchdown scorer +275
- Parlay odds: +1064
Jordan Travis is as dynamic as they come and a definite threat to score every time he has his hands on the ball. While the team will lean on Trey Benson to run the ball in the red zone, the Seminoles will also use Travis.
Benson has six rushing touchdowns on the year, and Travis has five.
Evan Stewart has not scored in the last couple of weeks. But as the top target in the A&M passing game, there is a good chance he gets back in the end zone against a weak South Carolina pass defense.
Gordon is a workhorse for Oklahoma State and the reason why the Cowboys are taking a three-game winning streak into Week 9. He has eight touchdowns on the season and one in the first quarter of the last three.
A $100 wager will result in a $1164 payday, your stake plus $1064 in winnings.
