The Browns offense finally scored a touchdown in the third quarter of their Week 1 matchup with the Cowboys.
The scoring drive may have come at a cost, however, as Cleveland may have lost tight end David Njoku to an injury.
Njoku made a key catch on the scoring drive. He grabbed a pass from Deshaun Watson and ran into open space after the catch for a 29-yard gain.
Two Cowboys defenders combined to bring down Njoku. He appeared to be less than 100 percent after the play.

David Njoku injury update
Njoku was slow to get up after being brought down and he eventually limped off the field and onto the sidelines. He was treated by Cleveland’s medical staff before hobbling into the locker room with some assistance.

The Browns didn’t immediately provide an update about Njoku’s status after the injury. They scored a few plays after his departure, as Watson found an open Jerry Jeudy for the team’s first score of the day.
Later in the game, the Browns announced that Njoku was questionable to return because of an ankle injury.
Cleveland has just one other tight end on its 53-man roster — veteran Jordan Akins. He would presumably see more playing time in place of Njoku if the veteran has to miss time because of his injury.
The Browns also have Cameron Latu and Blake Whiteheart on the practice squad, so either could receive a call-up for Week 2 if Njoku misses time.
