After winning yesterday’s sprint race with ease, Red Bull’s Max Verstappen will look to cap off another perfect weekend with victory in Sunday’s 2023 Brazilian Grand Prix.

The Dutchman and newly crowned three-time world drivers’ champion starts from pole position for this one after he narrowly won out during qualifying on Friday which was subsequently cut short by heavy thunder storms.

He’ll also be looking to further extend his own record of obtaining the most F1 wins in a single season with another here in São Paulo.

But this track, Interlagos, has a habit of producing drama as we’ve seen over the past few decades and as such, Verstappen will have to be at his very best to fight off the chasing pack around this challenging circuit.

Lando Norris finished in P2 during yesterday’s sixth and final sprint of the season but he starts from P6 here so expect a more likely advance from drivers like Charles Leclerc who begins in P2 or veteran Fernando Alonso in P4. Lewis Hamilton also remains in the hunt and starts one of his favourite races of the year from P5 on the grid.
