The first Florida derby is just days away, as Inter Miami CF hosts Orlando City SC on Saturday, March 4 at Chase Stadium in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
Lionel Messi and Co. returned to MLS action in their exclusive MLS season opener with a comprehensive 2-0 win, dominating against a nervous, undisciplined Real Salt Lake. It showed that Inter Miami has the firepower and gameplan to take MLS by storm this season.
Orlando City brings some firepower of its own, having signed long-time Serie A striker Luis Muriel to a three-year-contract this offseason. Muriel should team up with fellow South American Nicolas Lodeiro, another offseason addition, to give Orlando City even more creativity in the attack.
