The Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Chargers hit the practice field on Wednesday afternoon with just days to go before their Week 1 matchup, and afterwards both teams released their first injury report of the week.

Las Vegas had a total of seven players on the injury report, with the most notable being tight end Brock Bowers, left tackle Kolton Miller and linebacker Robert Spillane. Bowers was limited while Spillane and Miller were full participants.

Earlier in the day, head coach Antonio Pierce said that Bowers would be “ready to go” for Week 1 after missing significant time due to a foot injury. We’ll still have to monitor the next few injury reports, though, after Bowers didn’t practice fully.

One player we didn’t see on the injury report was second-round pick and guard, Jackson Powers-Johnson, who missed a ton of time this offseason due to injury. Powers-Johnson is not expected to start Week 1, but it’s good to say he was out there and is progressing.

Along with Bowers, Spillane and Miller, the Raiders had defensive end Tyree Wilson, linebacker Tommy Eichenberg, long snapper Jacob Bobenmoyer and cornerback Decamerion Richardson listed. The two rookies were limited and Bobenmoyer and Wilson were full participants.

For the Chargers, they had a much shorter injury report, with just two players on it. Wide receiver DJ Chark did not take part in practice, and cornerback Tarheeb Still was limited.

Here’s a look at the injury reports in full.
