Every Little League player dreams of the chance to play in Williamsport, Pa., with a chance to be a world champion. Every state has its representative, but the field in Williamsport still needs a few more tournaments to get rounded out.
While the international teams have largely been decided, with only a few remaining, the U.S. qualifying tournament will be starting on Aug. 3 to decide which 10 teams will be competing in the Little League World Series representing the United States.
There are a total of 53 teams that will be battling it out in the qualifying tournaments across the country. One team from each of the 10 regions will emerge to head to Pennsylvania to play in the Little League World Series.

Little League baseball regionals 2023
The road to Williamsport continues for U.S.-based Little League teams starting on Aug. 3, with the regional tournaments officially getting underway. There are 10 regions: Great Lakes, Metro, Mid-Atlantic, Midwest, Mountain, New England, Northwest, Southeast, Southwest and West.
The teams will not be headed to Pennsylvania until advancing past their regions, with Bristol, Conn., Whitestown, Ind., San Bernardino, Calif., Warner Robins, Ga. and Waco, Texas all hosting tournaments.

How to watch Little League baseball U.S. regionals

Little League World Series tournament schedule

The Little League World Series will officially begin shortly after the conclusion of the U.S. qualifying schedule. The tournament will two separate brackets, one featuring only U.S.-based teams and the other featuring all international teams.
On Saturday, Aug. 26, the International Championship will be held at 12:30 p.m. ET and the U.S. Championship will be at 3:30 p.m. ET. The losers from each game will face off on Sunday, Aug. 27 at 11 a.m. ET in the third-place game, while the winners will play at 3 p.m. ET in the championship match.
