Nicolson (9-0) is a 2018 Commonwealth Games gold medalist. The Aussie won the Commonwealth featherweight title in 2022 and the interim WBC featherweight title in September 2023. An active fighter and a Matchroom favorite, Nicolson last fought in November, beating Lucy Wildheart via TKO.
Mahfoud (14-1) turned pro in 2017. The former IBF featherweight champion lost the belt against Serrano in 2022. Since then, she has won three straight, with her last contest being a decision win over Marcela Acuna in October.
