The disdain Indianapolis Colts fans have for Tom Brady only grew stronger Sunday night during the Netflix special “The Greatest Roast of All Time.”
While Colts fans have not had to deal with Brady’s presence as much since he left the New England Patriots following the 2019 season, he gave them a swift reminder of how heated the rivalry got during the 2000s and 2010s.
After several celebrities and icons got their jabs in at Brady during his roast, the former Patriots and Buccaneers quarterback took the stage to get some payback of his own.
In doing so, he couldn’t help but take a jab at the Colts.
“I’m trying to buy a piece of the Raiders,” Brady said. “I’m tired of owning just the Colts and the Bills.”
Even throughout the Peyton Manning years, the Colts couldn’t get the proverbial monkey off their back when it came to Brady and the Patriots.
Brady held a 12-3 record against the Colts during his career. In those 15 games, Brady recorded a passer rating of 101.4 with 3,979 yards, 33 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. Brady was also 4-1 against the Colts during the playoffs.
