The 2023/24 UEFA Champions League group stage draw is the first step on the road to another thrilling season in Europe’s premier domestic competition.

Manchester City’s dramatic title win at the end of the 2022/23 campaign saw a new name etched onto the famous trophy as Pep Guardiola’s side wrapped up an incredible trophy treble.

The road to Wembley 2024 starts on August 31 for the 32 team who have qualified for the group stages with the draw tipped to throw up some huge clashes based on the current seeding allocations.

How to watch the Champions League draw

The draw will be streamed live on UEFA.com. In the UK, it will also be shown on TV on TNT Sports 1 and via stream on the discovery+ app with Paramount+ covering it in the USA.

The final list of 32 qualifiers will be completed after the last round of playoff matches on August 30. With the current list including 13 nations represented in the group stages.

Champions League knockout stage schedule

The draw for the 2022/23 Champions League Round of 16 will take place on December 18, 2023. 

The draw for the remaining rounds (quarter-finals and semi-finals) of the 2023/24 Champions League knockout stage will take place on March 15, 2024.
