Monday Night Football this week will feature a matchup of NFC foes with the Falcons and Eagles, each team looking to jump start their potentially high-powered offenses.

LIVE: Follow Falcons vs. Eagles updates from ‘Monday Night Football’

The two teams last met in 2021, when the Eagles picked up a 26-21 win. However, both teams have new stars on the field this season.

Quarterback Kirk Cousins is in his first year with the Falcons after spending six seasons with the Vikings. Cousins’ debut did not go as planned last week, as Atlanta fell to the Steelers, 18-10, behind 155 passing yards from Cousins.

The Eagles return to their home field after beating the Packers, 34-29, last week in the NFL’s first Brazil game. Jalen Hurts threw for 278 yards and two touchdowns. Saquon Barkley, the newest star addition to this Eagles offense, had 109 rushing yards and found the end zone three times.

Will the Eagles start the season 2-0, or will the Falcons find a rhythm with Cousins at the helm?
