The Sweet 16 game between the the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Alabama Crimson Tide will take place this Thursday at Crypto.com arena in Los Angeles.
The Tar Heels are part of all four No. 1 seeds in the tournament who are still alive. To get to the Sweet 16, the Tar Heels defeated Wagner by nearly 30 points in the first round.
They bested Michigan State in the second round, 85-69. RJ Davis led the way in scoring with 20 points, shooting 7-of-15 from the field. Armando Bacot posted 18 points, too.

The Crimson Tide are a No. 4 seed in the tournament. This marks the fourth straight tournament they qualified for under head coach Nate Oats. They lost in the Sweet 16 last year.
This year they defeated Charleston in the first round, posting 109 points. They bested Cinderella threat Grand Canyon in the second round, 72-61.
Mark Sears has posted 30 and 26 points through the first two rounds, respectively. He’s shot 17-of-31 from the field in the tournament, too. His scoring impact cannot be overlooked for the Crimson Tide.
They have the most high-octane offense in the country, posting an NCAA-leading 90.7 points per game this season.
