Does the Jets’ roster feature more players than Aaron Rodgers? Viewers tuning in to watch the second episode of “Hard Knocks” on Tuesday night will find out.
The opening 50 minutes of the latest season featured mostly Rodgers and rightfully so. The big trade has made the Jets the NFL’s most compelling story as the regular season approaches. With Rodgers being arguably the best quarterback to ever appear on the series, it’s was a logical path for NFL Films to take.
And head coach Robert Saleh has the Jets looking to the sky as they look to achieve those lofty expectations. Saleh struck a different chord than Lions head coach Dan Campbell did on the show last year, opting to tell his team a story about how an eagle staves off pesky crows — a stark difference from the rough and tough nature of Detroit’s philosophy.
For Week 2 of the preseason, New York, keeping with the bird theme, flew south to the Carolinas for joint practices with the Panthers and notably, the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL Draft — Bryce Young.

Episode 2 will likely feature plenty of footage from the Jets’ time down south as well as introduce NFL fans to some of the other prominent names across New York’s roster.
These Jets are out to rid themselves of the, “Same Old Jets,” moniker and the sky-high vibes in Florham Park, N.J., are a start.
