The Giants eye their first victory over the Cowboys since 2020 when the NFC East rivals clash this week on Thursday Night Football.

Dallas has taken each of the past six meetings between the two teams. Last season, the Cowboys out-scored New York by a total of 72 points. But it’s the Giants who enter Thursday’s game riding the momentum, buoyed by a feel-good win over the Browns on Sunday.

Rookie receiver Malik Nabers, the sixth overall pick in April’s NFL Draft out of LSU, continues to assert himself as one of the league’s best young wideouts. Nabers reeled in two touchdowns Sunday a week after catching 10 passes for 127 yards against the Commanders.

Dallas will rely on its own star receiver to help its offense break out. In August, CeeDee Lamb signed a four-year, $136 million contract extension to remain with the team and end an offseason holdout; he has just one touchdown across the first three games.

But Lamb has fared well against the Giants. Last November, he reeled in 11 catches for 151 yards and a touchdown in a domineering Cowboys victory.
